Day 1 DUBLIN to MUNICH
we stayed at the Clayton hotel Dublin AirPort, great for early morning flights , food choices and comfortable accommodations!
We to a free airport shuttle at 5am to Ireland DUB Airport only 5 minute away and headed to Munich Germany.
Excited and ready to venture out to a new and existing adventure over in Germany! Nonstop early flight was def a win! As soon as we landed we took a cab to our air b&b about 30 mins away located on schillerstrasse a multi cultural street, great for night owls. Not highly recommended for families but since we were home by 9pm it didn’t really bother us. I picked it because it was 5 minutes from Munich train station and town center Marienplatz and Oktoberfest!

Airb&b arrival
I arranged with our air b&b to be able to drop off our luggage in order to take advantage of the day to do some sightseeing! Here are the top locations in the area that we were able to stop by! Lots of walking and sightseeing! As we were walking around we could see that the town was getting ready for Oktoberfest which was starting on October 15 the day we left to Berlin.

Day 2 Austria
Off to the train station (Hauptbahn) for a day trip go another amazing country Austria, only 4 hours away! I listed all the places we saw all walkable along our trek. At the end of our trip it did rain on us and we did get drenched! But it wasn’t cold rain and we dried up when we got to the train station, luckily we had extra clothes. When we arrived at Munich we enjoyed a lovely late dinner at Munchner stubn.

Day 3 Neuschwanstein Castle
Neuschwanstein Castle is a 19th-century historicist palace on a rugged hill of the foothills of the Alps in the very south of Germany. It is located in the Swabia region of Bavaria, in the municipality of Schwangau, above the incorporated village of Hohenschwangau, which is also the location of Hohenschwangau Castle.

Day 7 Sachsenhaus concentration camp
Sachsenhausen-Oranienburg was a German Nazi concentration camp in Oranienburg, Germany, used from 1936 until April 1945, shortly before the defeat of Nazi Germany in May later that year. It mainly held political prisoners throughout World War II.

Sanssouci
Sanssouci a historical building in Potsdam, near Berlin. Built by Prussian King Frederick the Great as his summer palace, it is often counted among the German rivals of Versailles. While Sanssouci is in the more intimate Rococo style and is far smaller than its French Baroque counterpart, it, too, is notable for the numerous temples and follies in the surrounding park. The palace was designed and built by Georg Wenzeslaus von Knobelsdorff between 1745 and 1747 to meet Frederick’s need for a private residence where he could escape the pomp and ceremony of the royal court. The palace’s name is a French meaning “without worries” or “carefree”, emphasising that the palace was meant as a place of relaxation rather than a seat of power.

Day 9
